Forum Members

The Forum is independently chaired. The current Chair is John Wadham, Group Director Legal of the Equality and Human Rights Commission and former Deputy Chair of the IPCC.

At its formation, John Wadham, Chair of the Forum, said “The Forum brings together 14 organisations from Government, police, healthcare, prisons, coroners and the independent sector.  We will work together to spread best practice and to try to bring about real and meaningful change to prevent deaths in all types of custody”.
